Don't talk about cars.

Had to pay for a new gearbox for missus's car today + because the gearbox was slightly different a new clutch had to be fitted + turned out the starter motor was funked too.

is that the new mini??

when i drove a mini years ago, I had 165 x 70 x 10, which were pretty hard to come by, luckily my old boy owned a tyre shop on chorlton road, im sure buckley used to frequent it, as my dad was always coming home with electrical goods that he purchased from local bag-heads, fresh off a lorry outside dixons on Moss Side precinct. anyway I never went without good tyres.

I notice that they are bringing back the "run flat" tyres again?? Hopefully be better that the Dunlop "Denovo" of the early 80's ;)

Bag-heads? Glue-sniffers maybe?

I was one of few hard-up student lads in the area that never took Pa Jjinit up on his offer to have a blow on the the "special valve" down the back of tyre yard JJ! There was more that one reason for that smell of rubber round your way :P

crap ones that cost me about £50 for two of em.

did u find that yr 106 had no grip whilst on a moist road suface?

had "budget" tyres on mine b4 i traded it in. never again!

nah i've always had understeer but these dont feel any diff to my old pirelli's. There's some great roundabouts & national limit roads on the way back to mine. Always massive body roll and understeer in the wet! Sounds bad but its more fun than anythin!!!

I remember ages ago when my dad had a 3 series. He did a fair few miles for his work and had to get new tires. The company refused to pay for the proper beemer ones so he had to get budget ones. They were so bad he was scared to drive on motorways. It would make the car randomly leap from one lane to another :O

Yeah, I heard auto-erotic asphyxiation was his big thing! Didn't know he used to do it to others too! :P

Some fcker slashed my tyres last week outside my house.

Funny thing was, I didn't realise until I'd loaded the car up with gear for the local skip.

Actually that wasn't funny that was shite.

If i catch the fckers they're be wearing the tyres round their necks filled with petrol as i dance in glee behind them whipping them with a hose filled with sand.

Wonder if someone has something against me or was it a random bit of skullcharvery??

Every car in my fairly genteel road keyed a while back and now some little f**cker has had the crest/badge thing of the front.

Hoodies....state of the nation.......wasn't like this when I were a lad, leave your doors open for neigbours.......sense of community, all fields around here, hard but fair, may have cut you in two for looking at them funny but they luvved their muvver...AAAAARRRRGGHGGGG!!!!!!

Keying cars is the most effortless and destructive form of charvery.

:(

Hey Ho!

(as i'd say to their mothers)
;)
