CAR HIRE

most companies have a big selection, but i hired a peugeot 207 last year for around 42 euros per day but that was early september which is not 'peak' season. July an August are more expesive.

do you have to be driving for a certain amount of time and is there an age limit??

i think you need to be over 21 and have 2 years experience. Not 100% though.

you can get a ford ka or similar vihicle in that class for a little under 85 pounds for an entire week! now I haven´t seen that cheaper elsewhere than hispacar!

Most hire car companies require you to be 25 in order to hire a car. I'm 22 and have been driving for 5 years and Avis or Hertz wouldn't let me.

ahh thats a shame:( looks like we'll be walking and busing it everywhere!!

I would personally do a search on the internet & book car hire that way, maybe from the company direct. It works out a lot cheaper than doing it when you get there

busses are fast, relyable and cheap in ibiza so you´ll be fine! ;) I guarantee it! + they have super aircon!

Ibiza-girlie I have to disagree with you there. The wait time for a bus is horrible, especially after a night of clubbing.

PG - I went tp Ibiza in 2000 when I was 22 years old and was able to hire a car for the week with no problems. Its possible that they will have an extra surcharge for the age differential but you can certainly get one!

Prices around the island last week seem to be around £20 a day but many do "deals" of say 3 for the price of two so it's worth hunting around.
I got two weeks in July for £169 through Holiday Autos on the link on my site
