hallo.

can anyone recomend any car hire places? the cheaper the better really.

also anyone know where you can hire decent cars from, something a bit better than your bog standard polo

i know these two contradict but its for 2 different reasons :)

Moto Louis, there is a link on the main Ibiza-spotlight site. I have used them for years now and they are really helpful with cheap prices.

The only problem i found with these was the pickup is from the Airport, so ur stuck if you want to get one mid week.

I looked at these, quite a few offices around which is good but around 20Euros more. I know it doesnt sound much but its a few drinks! :lol:

How about holiday autos? They are usually pretty good value.

take a look at http://www.amigoautos.com , some of the cheapes prices i've seen...

for a ford ka, €125/week in june/sept, €150/week in july/august.

the cars come from hetrz baleares at the airport...

they also have jeeps and cabriolets but i don't know how these prices compare
 
Over the last 20 years I have used Holiday Autos ( link thru my site but don't accept first quote, suggest someone like Hertz offering similar for £120 less) and Carjet but with Carjet the pain is having to wait around for a minibus to take you from the airport to their depot and in October last year, they emailed me a couple of days before arrival to say no cars available so get a taxi and they would sort out at my hotel. I waited in the so##ing taxi queue for over an hour at 01.00am. Didn't happen - I had to go with rep to next town to pick up car although granted after a big moan, they gave me an Alfa Romeo instead of a Corsa to shut me up :twisted:
