Car Hire with debit card?

I booked last year with Hiper car hire and paid around 130 euros for a seat Ibiza for a week which included the extra insurance. Does anyone know of any other companies that offer booking with a debit card as although Hiper were good, they weren't the cheapest..

theres a few if you search google. but theres a 400 quid deposit against your card.

Cheers, it was through Indigo car hire that we booked and they told us the same about Hiper taking a deposit, though they never did and instead just took an impression of the card and kept it until we returned
