Car hire over new year...

I know i've probably left it a bit too late to enquire but is nowhere open for car hire over the new year??

I've tried Centaura, Europcar, Hertz, Turbo, Hiper and Avis and they all say there's no option or the office is closed...

Also tried BK (my preference) and the website keeps re-routing me back to the first page when i try to select a car...

Anyone know if any of these places are actually open and if they are is it possible to just turn up at the showroom and rent one without pre-booking??
