got it back, but a few days after we got home. i could check later and see what the initial charge was (if i can find the statement). WHy not email them?
I dunno... well, when I've used Centauro and Hiper, the only money they blocked on my card besides the rental fees was the gasoline deposit. As noted above, it was around 40 euros.
I used Centauro in september 06 and it depends on what kinda of car u rent. Ford focus was about €300 and a ford fiesta was €250. Didn't need to fill up petrol, they just deducted that from my deposit and the money was returned a few days later.
