Going for a wedding next week...

Am arriving before & leaving after main group as wanted a longer break.

Any short trips worth doing? Hotel recommendations?

Been a couple of times for conferences. Rather nice albeit very expensive. You can go to Monocco for a day trip. The last time we were there I stayed at the Ibis (due to company cuts) which was awful but not that expesive and you are in the middle of town.

I recall going to a titty bar where there was this bizarre glass dome where you could smoke. We actually ended up getting chased down the road by the bouncers that night for some reason I am not sure why.

If you want to go to a nice restaurant, you should look up the net and book in advance is there are normally full.

Lots of great places for day-trips round there ...

- Mougins (great restaurant too)
- Cap d'Antibes / Juna les Pins
- Grasse

Or a little bit further ..

- St Paul de Vence
- (skip Nice !! :lol:) and over to ...

- St Jean-Cap-Ferrat
- Eze Village
