Hello;

Well, this is going to be the biggest adventure of my life. I'm selling off my belongings and taking the jump... moving to Ibiza this May!! If there are any DJ's from CANADA coming out to party, work, anything of the sort. Post here, there are big plans, and there will be something big coming up for you!

Hey, Paul. Although I'm not a DJ, I am Canadian and a huge house music fan that's going to Ibiza for my first (but definitely not last) time. What are you spinning? That Canadian stage sounds sic 8)
I'll be there from March 2-17 this year. Although I believe you said you are moving there in May, do you know any other Canadians or Ibizans that I could hook up with? I know sweet f.a. about Ibiza.

phew! ain't that the truth? did you not do any research before you booked what i assume will be an expensive trip? i really don't think you'll get what you want (if you're a house music fan) in ibiza in march.

Well, I hate to tell you, guys, but my decision to come to Ibiza was not dependent on it being the “on” season. In fact, logistics was a key determinant. For instance, when one is working and taking a masters degree, taking a vacation focused exclusively around clubbing is not even remotely my top priority. In fact, this trip was planned in the only three week window I have for a vacation all year. Some of us are not fortunate enough to be able to pick and choose our vacation times as we please. I’m just grateful to have the time off.

In addition, from a little research I’ve learned that there is much more to Ibiza than just clubbing. In fact, even if I went to Ibiza during the “on” season, I'd feel like I wasted my vacation if my only focus was clubbing. I’m looking forward to doing many, many, things in addition to clubbing. I’ll probably see and experience more of Ibiza than anyone whose rotted out and crashed all week.
In this regard, this house music fan will get what he wants (and probably much more) out of the beautiful island of Ibiza.

then i'm sure you'll have a great time. shame you're leaving just before the san jose fiesta and fallas.
 
codester, doing a masters and a degree myself, may i highly reccomend getting truely off a yer spanners as a highly effective method of letting off the steam that appears to have built up!

Im gonna be In Ibiza this year. Im also Canadian, from Toronto. Can't wait and counting down the days (its my first time). Ive been Djing for a while though. Anyways I'm gonna be there from June 3rd until june 11th. Any of you there around that time?
 
Codester... it sounds like you're being a bit defensive.. I agree there are plenty of things to do in Ibiza... I zip around the island throughout much of the day but a major part of it is the clubbing..

You say you will do many things in addition to clubbing... well as others have said.. there really won't be ANY clubbing in March... apart from Pacha..

I dont' know what doing a Masters and working full time has to do with anything ;)

I went to Ibiza last year and will be there in August again this year

I didn't Dj last year but a friend from here did.

I'd like to play somewhere this year even if it's just something small on the beach. That would be fantastic

Does that yahoo email work with msn?
