Can you drink tap water now?

I know a few years ago they did some major works on the Island's water works.
Before then you couldn't drink the tap water.

Is it drinkable now or is it still bottle water all the way?
 
I've drunk the water from the taps a few times in Ibiza when I was desperate and needed a cold drink immediately. It's fine in small doses. NEVER drink it in a club though.
 
it's perfectly fine to drink in certain parts of the island and has been for years, however in others, where desalinated water hasn't yet arrived, it isn't.
 
We have well water to our taps. I've never died from it or even got a stinach ache but find it a bit sweeter than bottled water :/ suppose that doesn't really help your question though :p
