Can I rent a bike or a motorcycle to explore?

Hello,

I was wondering if there are places where I can rent a bicycle to explore the island. This is my first time...I was wondering if the island is bicycle friendly...If not, does anybody know if I can rent a motorcycle instead?

Is there safe way to riding bike from play den bosa to ses salinas beach?

We used taxi to get there, I am sure I saw bike/scooter lane on main road to ses salinas beach but I don't really fancy to ride bike on this road. Looked very dangerous!

just use the main road or if not sure stick to your taxi.

chance is high some bloody ****ing tourist doing some sightseeing WHILE driving
will hit you from behind ... very dangerous !

but i knew a guy who did this road every day with inliners -
by luck he survived :-)
 
i'm renting bike from ibizaMTB to do some tours at the end of this month for a few days... does anyone know if the signs mentioned above are in english? really looking forward to it.. i'm determined to cycle down to see Es Vedra.. i don't care if it takes me all day! :):)

is the january weather ok for cycling around in shorts and maybe a windproof thin jacket??
