I never used to get hangovers at the start of my drinking career, now I constantly get them.
The best remedy I have found is to take 2 ibuprofen before you go out, 2 when you get back with a couple of pints of water, and 2 when you wake up with another pint of water. That's advice from medical students, and it works a treat. You still feel dehydrated and a bit shit, but no headache or sick feeling so you can get on with your day nicely.
Trouble is, I'm usually too drunk to bother... 'ah, I'm not THAT drunk, it'll be fine'
