Please help, I can't find a good site to download my music fix. I want the good tunes I heard in Ibiza please HELP!!

soulseek is the god of file sharing, pay 2.80 a month and u get to skip the queues and get alot more search results, its lollipoptastic, u dont have to pay tho

u arent stickin it to the man when u dont pay for house records. Vinyl is dying out as it is.

why not pay for music instead?

when was the last time you brought a cd, dam0 ?  :D 8O

ahaa not as long ago as u may think! I'm doin it cos i'm skint, when i have money i buy stuff. When traxsource is online then i'll be buying more stuff anyway... but using more of my overdraft :(

I do download a fair bit but i know i shouldnt and I have cut down a lot because i realised how few sales my favorite artists actually get. These days its pretty good if you can sell 2000 units. Not a lot of return when u think how much effort goes into a good tune.

if you dont have the money to buy a track you arent going to buy it full stop

so downloading it hasnt caused any loss in sales........but is still promoting them......

I download to see what I like....if I dont like it I dont buy it, If I do, i'll get it on vinyl.......

so its basically like listening to it in the shop......

(but i know there are people who download with no intention of buying, even when they do have the cash)

Lots of people do it but its a shame so many good artists lose out because of it. I dont give a flying funk about people like britney spears because they earn millions on very little talent. I'm talking about the house artists most of us like and follow.

Here, Here.

Downloading doesn't bother me, it's when you play it to death and don't then buy it, that's when I get peeved. Most of the people producing this stuff are not exactly loaded you know, and ok do it for the love of it, but a few sales for these people would show them genuine support. And stop them going off to do a 'proper' job. And I understand some people can't afford to buy vinyl. But some can still afford their beans every weekend.

Lecture over (and I nearly fell off my high horse).

I'll download people's recommendations and stuff I hear and like, then use the downloaded stuff to influence what I buy and which DJ's I go and see. Don't agree with people who download entire albums with no intention of buying the original.

Anyway, it's not been mentioned, but I'd recommend edonkey, I use it all the time.

i have emule, soulseek and shareaza. i recommend soulseek but i haven't set up emaule yet so i don't know if it's any better (though i've heard good things). shareaza is ok, i find it a bit slow.
