hey, i did search on camers but most of the threads are from 2006.

so just wanted to check, it looks like you can get in to every club with a camera apart from amessia? is this true???

i luv taking pics to look back. just i spent a lot on a new digi cam and dont wana tak it, if going to get taken of me and they misplace it!!

i leave fly out at 6am from glasgow 2moz!! so excited!! x x x

What about mobile phones? Can you use them to call someone while in Space?

I used this argument with the guards in Space once and actually got them to let me keep my camera.

They'd caught me using it and wanted me to go check it in at the door. I pointed to the 20 people within a 10 meter radius taking photos or film clips with their phones at that very moment.

I wouldn't rely on their kindness, though... better not to take photos with guards nearby if you do sneak your phone in.

plenty of people were taking photos in front of security and generally they didnt seem to do much unless it was a camera as opposed to a phone

You'll be fine with the camera just be careful and don't film or take pictures near the bouncers. I smuggled the camera in all nights I was going to (Cream, Armada, Carl Cox, Judgement Sundays, Meganite, Circoloco) except Manumission, but it was crap anyway, so didn't regret it.
