Camden Palace/Koko nearby drinking establishments

Was it good?

Tickets were quite price for that I remember.

What is the music policy like? I heard its mucho funky

Yeah it was really good but I did think it was over priced for what you got, it was a set price and then as much drink as you wanted but it just wasnt very well organised so trying to get a drink was a bit of a mare!

great place - thank god its still alive :D 8) ...
... and wasn´t demolished like this poor thing:
http://opendalston.blogspot.com/ :( :spank:

i only don´t like name changes of "historic" places
(f.e.: http://www.spotlight-forums.com/showthread.php?t=43852),
"koko" sounds quite artificial ...
...but nevertheless there is no better spot for a big nightclub
than a former theater.
remember going there with 15 and being quite impressed from these dolls and other stuff hanging under the high ceiling and moving back and forth .

long live "the camden palace" aka "koko" !
