we are staying next week over 40 people in Cala LLonga at El Pinar..has anyone stayed...also what are cool bars there if any..? and great places to eat near or there..
we will be going to various other places throughout Island and know Ibiza pretty well... but don't know Cala LLonga please help...

you will enjoy the hotel/great food.big choice on ales.yes just walk round see what takes you fancy on eating out.you may find lots of spainish group bookings eating there some nights or in the day.but they put them out of the way.

pepe runs the bar.bit slow buts he is ok.nice little resort.

i stayed there in about 2003 on a late deal one july.quick get away.and i still pop over for aday to sunbath and eat.nice staff.very clean.good rooms.small pool really.but beach is lovely.small bow legged man takes your money for beds along with his mate...say they order there food from el pina.so that tells you something.

fag shop now open in cala longa.so no need to go out of resort.even a chippy.a little bit better rate on euro.s in shops.near foundtain area.boats come in all day so you can go anywhere you fancy.or get the bus to town.or just up the road 5 mins away is santa eulalia.from there on a weds.get the bus to es cana (hippy market).or just send the ladys out for a days shopping.

anymore info use this site ot pm me.i don.t mine at all.

Hi
From what I can remember the El Pinnar is very nice, I have a mate who goe's there every year.
As regards places to eat I would say Cala llonga is getting more choice then when I first started going there about 15 years ago.
I'm sorry but I can't remember the names, but there is an Argentian place that is on the main street on the corner which do a bbq for about 12 euros which was nice there is SOS which has a sea view which doe's everything from a "full English" to a fresh fish of the day, there is another steak place up by the montemar which had only just opened when I went there earlier in the month which was doing main courses at 50% off, Casa Piedra is excellent with a great selection of freshly cooked main courses.
To drink again there is enough to keep you going there is Pirates, Mr Cairo's, Zahara's La Criolla, and that is just for starters.
Also you are only a short drive from Santa Eullalia where you have even more choice.
Enjoy your time there.
Peter

Thats the one:)
Actually remembering it, you get a massive amount of food for what I think was ten euros on Monday and Thursday.
