Cala Jondal, by bus?

Probably impossible, but doing a bit of research into getting to Cala Jondal by bus, what is the closest you can get? and how far would you then have to walk? Seems as though it's only the number 26 bus that gets anywhere near...

There is a bus (about every two hours) between Ibiza and Cala Vadella which goes through Sa Caleta on the way to St Joseph.
If you have a really good map, you slould be able to alight just further on from sa Caleta and walk. Looking at my map, and Google Earth, I reckon the walk would be no more than 1,5 km (a mile) from the main Sa caleta/St Joseph road.
It is the no.26 and it is regular and reliable. www.ibizabus.com should have the info.
It's not impossible to get the bus to the airport and walk from there, through Sa Caleta, but obvs the distance is much further, and carrying beach stuff I wouldn't fancy it!

I think there is a sign on the main road to the Cala Jondal beach, but don't quote me. The bus driver will know where to drop you off (right??)!

I notice there's a bit of a misleading map on "Tropicana's" website: http://www.ibiza-restaurants.com/tropicana/tropicanaEnglish.html under the 'arrive' section, they've positioned the bar in the wrong place...
