How easy is it to get there without hiring a car, roughly how far would it be in a taxi from SA bay. Is it possible to get the local buses

No but when something like this finally works it works good, or it is repaired within one day. I love the ibizabus.com website because it is more clear than any other source about the timetables (like on the busstation or in the newspaper).
