Cala Conte

Clear waters, an hour on a pedalo for €13, a nice bottle of wine at one of the restaurants before the boat back to San An.

Recommended.8)

Also Calla Bassa... just round the corner from Calla Conte. Equally clear waters, but in more of a cove. Has a great "dive board" stylee rock that everyone jumps off, probably 10-15feet above water.

(I didnt, was too scared  )

really!:o cala conta is ok but as its one of the main beach destinations for the masses from San An (along with cala bassa) it does get more than its fair share of punters.

have you got a car buckers? there are many better beaches not far from cala conta by car.

I have a car a borrow when needed. Been to most beaches around now, but had such pedalo fun yesterday I couldn´t help enthuses.

Mainly Italians and Spanish there yesterday.

Agreed Miss Boo - Cala Bassa is lovely too.

and the boats leave from here

and cala conta now has the super trendy sunset ashram

this is also a fave place o mine 8)

it was more busy this year though and whats with all the boats:?:

having braved the clouds i got the beach to me self :o

Cala Comte was recommended by a friend - we couldn't swim due to stormy seas so did the clifftop walk instead. Loved the Sunset Ashram so went back for a sunset - nice sounds and reasonably priced drinks. Sunset was ace. The food is normal beach bar stuff.

I wouldn't go in the height of the season as the beaches are very small.

Cala Bassa, was a nice place, visited once by bus,
spent about 4 hrs, had a bite to eat, swam with the fishes lol.
had to keep moving for the sun, lol

I went to cala conta and thought it was great, agreed though that it is rather small but it seemed to be mostly locals there. pedaloe hire was great fun, we took ours all the way out to the big rock offshore.

I went to either C. Bassa or C. Conte and there is a little resort area with a pool and a small cafe/restaurant. Or actually it might have been C. Gracia...

Can anyone (mackie?) please help me remember which one I went to !!

There was some great people I met there, would like to go back again to visit them. (locals).

Thnx
