Anyone tried it :?: I see from the facebook photos that they are serving their own brand of Hierbas this year and no longer dishing up the Mari Mayan's to everyone.

Just wanting to know if it any good and can you but a bottle at some extortionate price no doubt :?:

Its in a very similar bottle to the Can Rich brand

Checked the drinks menu when I was in Mambo earlier this week. Its available at 90€ a bottle 8O :spank:

I will settle for the usual Mari Mayans or Can Rich thank you very much

I suppose that's one way to secure a waterside table at Mambo. 90 Euros, deary me.

It was only a few years ago you could walk up an hour or so before sunset and get a waterside table. Now they are all reserved with those minimum spend type people. You can't even just sit down and have a drink anymore you have to eat. I now just sit on the rocks with my drink. Better view and about 90% cheaper.

table for sunset dining at mambo is between 60-110 euros min spend per person 8O depending on where you sit. My mate did it last week.

Aye did the same when I was out there, right out on the rocks where you weren't crowded by people and could enjoy it in relative peace. Had a drink at the waterside during the day and the view was nothing special either.

I ate there last week with no reservation, just turned up about an hour before sunset and waited 10 mins with a drink. There was no min spend. In fact the bill came to about 80 euros for 2 people.

cafe mambo

hi, i was just reading it costs about 70euros per head for a table on the decking outside mambos. this might be a stupid question but this include food? or is it to just book the table!? thanks

It means you have to spend that much per person on food and drinks when you're there.

It's the same with Savannah - if there's a table free you can rock up and spend what you like. It's only those people who MUST have a table at a fixed place and INSIST on knowing it's all booked for them who get done for the minimum spend thing. If you just take the view that if it's full you'll go somewhere else you'd be amazed how often you get in to a decent place. This Season the over-capacity thing is nowhere near as bad as it usually is in August so the fleecing is definitely contained, if you're a bit flexible about things and are prepared to try your luck a bit.

The bottles were custom designed in italy. So im not sure how you think they look like the can rich bottles. Maybe listening to too many other peoples small talk?
