yep i dont know anything about the buses either , how much / pay onboard or ticket before? thanks

At the bus stations you have to buy a ticket but if you jump on somewhere else you can pay on board; no bills over 50 euro, though. The #14 bus from Playa D'en Bossa to Ibiza Town costs 1.25 euro, cash on board. This bus stops a few meters from Space and in front of the Fiesta Hotels at the end of PDB. To get to the different beaches you have to go through Ibiza Town first, and from PDB it's about a 15-20 minute ride. At Ibiza Town get the #15 to Cala Llonga, where you buy the ticket at the booth. Buses to the different beaches are usually once an hour so plan ahead, get there early so you won't waste time waiting at the bus station; for some beaches the last bus will leave around 4PM so be careful not to miss it or you'll be stuck! Cala Llonga has a bus to Ibiza Town at 8PM so you should be fine. The ride to Cala Vedella was very scenic (quite scary in the hills!) and ended up being under 3 euro for quite a ride. The best was the bus from San Antonio to Cala Compte - it had bright orange plastic seats and looked like something out of a Mexican western. Got me there on time and in one piece, though. This should help - plan ahead and you'll save time and loads of money on transportation. http://www.ibizabus.com/web/misc/01-32TOTA6.pdf

What I really meant to say was that it looked like something you'd see in a movie where someone is escaping to Mexico with loads of money. They get on a hot, crowded bus with bright plastic seats, pull a hat down over the head, and ride to Cala Compte hoping the Feds don't catch them. I don't think they had buses in the Old West, sorry!
