Any ideas what the score is with the buses? Every year the prices seem to go up and down. About 3 years ago the bus from San An to Ibiza town was 2 euros. Last year it was 3 euros and the disco bus was 3.50. Went to Ibiza last week and got the same bus again. The price was back down to just 2 euros from San An and 3 euros for the disco bus. Also nobody was allowed to pay in cash for the disco bus at San An. Many people had to lose their place in the queue and purchase a ticket from the main building. Back in 2013 I remember the bus took us to the main bus station in Ibiza town, but I hear the station closed soon after opening.
Do they plan to stop people purchasing tickets on buses altogether? Are they trying to speed up the service by getting everyone on the disco buses as fast as possible without having to pay onboard? Sometimes I notice the next bus is waiting to pull in but it can't because the first bus still hasn't pulled out. Wonder if they are trying to sort it out by asking people to purchase tickets before they board at daytime as well? Do they plan to keep the prices low this year or has it got something to do with the summer months?
Anyone keep tabs on the bus prices? Cheers.
