I've read on here that there are no or very little proper bus stops (shelters), this got me a little worried as Ibiza is new to me.

Would anyone be able to tell me where to get on / off for the following routes.

We want to go from :
santa eulalia to San An on the no 19
then from San An to ports des torrent on the no 6 (going to Seahorse scuba diving centre)

also

Want to go from santa eulalia to ibiza no 13 and then ibiza to playa Bossa no 14 (going to bora bora)

Also can you buy a card that you top up with money to use on the buses instead of single bus fares?

there is a bus stop every 10 feet between ibiza and play den bossa. very annoying lol

Yes! V.annoying lol! It surprised me how popular they are for passengers embarking aswell. Not that it should, wouldn't surprise me if I was on a bus in the UK.

ok first one you get off at san an bus station.then get another bus from there, .
next one get off in ibizatown when everyone gets off.at the bus station street ok.then walk back down the road untill you see a shelter with the sticker saying 14.there is a kiosk and a cafe where the stop is.they run every 20/25 mins to pdb.get off when you see a funfair on a corner.look for jet atps signs on the left.you will drive down loads of palm trees when you in pdb.to the bottom then it turns left and round a right bend, funfair is on right side.

of course make sure you on the right side of the road for buses back.at san and ibizatown stations you must get a ticket from the office.in ibizatown you walk up some steps into the main ticket office.boxes are on the left side.

best to pay as you go.you never know you might stay longer and get a taxi back,

ok suba club you need to get off near the sirenis seaview country club in the bay.short walk from there ok.

The first thing you need to know is that the main bus terminus in Santa Eulalia is in the centre of town.
The ticket office, next to where the buses park up is in 'Cami de Esglesia', this is at least 20 minutes walk from Casa Luis. You can get a bus almost outside of your apartment, #18a or 18b,this takes you to the terminus, €1.50pp. Remember that wherever there is a ticket office (that is open) you have to buy a ticket before you can board the bus.

So you can't pay on the bus?? how odd.
So what happens if you are in an area where there is no ticket office (middle of nowhere )and you haven't got a ticket but you need to get on that bus?

or am i missing something :?:

You can pay on the bus if the ticket office is closed or there isn't a ticket office!!! But if the ticket office is open, then you pay there. Stupid idea if you ask me!! All buses are equipped with ticket machines and money so why not just pay on there?!?

Great thanks.

I wasa bit worried about the 20min walk into santa eulalia town to the ticket office as my hubby has currently got sciatica so he's not very mobile at the moment.

Our first holiday abroad and he gets sciatica :rolleyes: bloody men! ;)

as there are massive queuing at the main stations like san and ibizatown.so getting a ticket first the driver just clips them and can drive off on time.
