Bruises

I've always bruised easily; if I so much as brush past a table, I'll inevitably have a massive bruise appear immediately afterwards which lasts for days.

But recently they seem to have got worse to the point that I don't want to bare my pins; not a problem in Scotland but with just over a month to Ibiza, I'm getting worried.

What tips can people recommend? I'm eating healthily at the moment (loads of fruit and salads) and tried Arnica pills from Boots but they didn't seem to do much. If the worst comes to the worst, can you buy make-up to conceal them which doesn't look fake?

Not only that, but I can't even think where most have come from!

I bruise really easily too :? Apparently one of the causes of it is a lack of potassium (sp??) in your diet but then my diet is really healthy so I don't know what else to do other than munch of 50 bananas a day which might be a tad excessive

There is an Arnica (sp??) cream that you can apply to the bruise if you find the tablets don't work.

I always eat at least one banana a day and take vitamin suppliments. Isn't the Arnica cream not meant to be as strong as the pills? Might try some tea-tree on my skin too.

I find the cream easier to use that the tablets and u can apply directly and as frequently as you wish... good luck :)

spinach

mrs russ used to bruise badly ( i tink the pale skin makes tings look worse too) but a regular dose of the magic popeye stuff really seems to have worked.

stop arguing with your fellah, then he wont have any need to bruise you ;)

p.s I know you didnt get them jumping up at eastlands to celebrate a goal!!!

I am the same - so I use the cream rather than the tablets - its better.

If you really get stuck you can by camouflage cream (make up) that's water resistant if you are bothered by them that much
