His contribution to the Bristol collective has resulted in some of the most soulful, edgy and uplifting records that this country has produced in the past 20 years – from Unfinished Sympathy and Hymn Of The Big Wheel right up to recent collaborations with the likes of Terry Callier, Mos Def and Snoop Dogg.
