Ive only heard the mix played by Jules last weekend. That one was quiet nice, nothing special tho.

nah, I would play them if they were good mixes, but they're not.
The amount of pop stars being badly remixed by dance music producers is scary, cos that's where the money is at the moment.
I got sent some thing yesterday by an ex member of the Backstreet Boys. Truly awful. One of the mixes is Todd Terry and it's just horrible, it sounds like it was made on an old Atari or something.

thats prob with the BIG labels... all about money, money money... i got hold of some Maxi cds from OZ and Europe... had loadsa mixes not available on UK versions of the same frigging CD...
started to buy vinyl to transfer to CD, even tho i aint got no decks yet...

You need to be a gigging dj playing to a certain amount of people per week/month.
Basically a promotional tool for record labels to use, to allow dj's to roadtest new promo's and send back reactions before any release.
