bora bora ?

was open this weekend just gone, we walked past the on the beach as it was closing...police outside though......

good stuff - had heard the action had moved slightly up the beach to another bar - but bora bora is the essence of ibiza 4 me

.........and sorry for the 'cream' (instead of amnesia) reference - had heard this had re-started not heard that any other partys had there - far from my venue of choice

Club Opens

Bora-Bora finally opened its doors on Tuesday
after completing its one month closure order.

The beach club was ordered to shut, along with Amnesia and DC-10,
after they were found guilty of allowing the sale and consumption
of drugs in their establishment.

Sources at the club underlined the financial losses that the establishment had suffered over the thirty day period, pointing out the fact that they also ran restaurants, supermarkets and had over 1,500 tourist places, all of which had been severely affected.

Bora-Bora is the last of the convicted clubs to open its doors,
and puts an end, for the moment, to a controversial few weeks
which has seen heated debate at all levels of government.

Table dancing

I saw on another thread that since the reopening, the DJ is playing inside and dancing on the tables isn't allowed. Is this still the case? Reckon it'll be back to normal come mid-Sept or is this how it's going to be for the season? Hope not!!!
 
yeah it's a shame.... dancing on the tables with spiderman was a MUST DO on the island....:cry:

I also hope it will be back to normal in a couple of weeks....
but anyone knows how bora bora is this year since the reopening?
 
was in there a few times over the last few days and it felt like there was something missing.

not sure if it was cos you couldn't dance on the tables,its not as loud or its just not as busy as last year?

maybe it will take a while to warm back up again?
