Booking UK Trains Question

I'm looking to book a train journey next month and ive tried a few different operators including Virgin Trains, Silverlink and Trans Pennine, but when i enter my postcode here in Dublin none of them will recognise it and i cant proceed with the booking, does anyone know what the story is here?

Surely these train companies cant be so stupid as to limit train bookings to those who only reside in the UK,and have UK postcodes (or can they)our postcodes here are different to the ones in the UK (less complicated) id sooner not have to call any of these places and just book online, has anyone any ideas?cheers.

I use either trainline or midland mainline

Not sure why it is doing that??

You could just put a UK address, the address is only for sending the tickets to your house, but you click on the pick up from fast track machine option. I have never had any mail sent to me by midland mainline, not even invoices. But it is probably best to call them.

cheers for that sirens,i had a look at the Trainline but they charge a £2 credit card fee, i don't think the others do, anyway ill have a look and see what happens.
