Using this company for 4 nights in Ibiza in Sept, it says 100% of the first night will be charged after the deadline of free cancellation.

Does this mean I only pay for 3 nights when on arrival at hotel instead of 4?

Its €192 in total, after the first payment it should be less surley?
 
I find some of the prices on booking.com seem a bit on the high side, and some of the photos used in the listings can place more emphasis on anything else but the rooms i.e public areas, a coffee machine, bowl of fruit :lol:.

Take this listing for apartments b-lobet, £1328.00 and that's with a 21% discount for a 4 night stay sept 2nd - 6th and not a single photo of a room out of 40+ photos in the listing, poor show.

At that point checking visitor's reviews will be good guide.
İf hotel's pictures are seen like autocat program and no visitor's review yet, omit it.
 
Generally find booking.com on par or cheaper. That said if you contact some
Properties directly they might give you 10-15% discount as this is the commission Booking.com generally take
 
Have booked sal Rossa in bossa through Ibiza spotlight last 3 times I've been and found it excellent. Cheaper than booking.com and pay on arrival
 
I have used booking.com myself and find it very easy to use. One thing I have picked up over the years is that if you book directly via the hotels website (although usually payment up front) you get little perks like priority for pool/sea view rooms, late check out etc...
 
I've booked into the Riviera apartments in San An Bay win booking.com, anyone stayed there before? I think it's connected to the Riviera hotel

I stayed there a few years ago. Room is as expected for a budget hotel - will do the job for you. Food on the other hand is dire - literally the same 4 dishes every day, and thats spaghetti sloponese, undercooked chips etc. Room only is fine for a cheap holiday though.

Yeah they arent too bad...I mean dont expect much but they will do you. small sizes and annoying to keep going up...but thats standard for most hotels these days!

I don't plan on eating there, don't want to spend much time in the hotel at all if I can help it
