Booked Glitterbox @ Hi . . . Kinda Regretting It Now

So we're heading over 14-18 Sep for the second time this year. Early June was Heart Ibiza, and Paris by Night @ Pacha.

So for September we've booked Glitterbox @ Hi, and Defected @ Eden.

After reading about Hi, I'm kinda getting worried. I'm never seen Roger Sanchez or David Morales so I had an Add to Basket moment and bought the tickets.
OK so I realise it's a bit of a guilty pleasures thing and no doubt if either of them drops something like Pasadila or String of Life I'll get far far too giddy for a 47 year old clubber !!!
And it's new, and it's not . . . don't mention the S word.
But . . . I have a feeling it's going to be full of VIPs trying to drink their impossibly large bottles of vodka, and tourists just there out of curiosity & trying to order cocktails.
I'll be on the €12 bottles of water and saying Hi (ironically) to anyone to glances at me.
Am I going to be disappointed ???


Clearly Defected @ Eden is something I'm smiling just thinking about :-)

you are a 47 year old clubber and morales and sanchez are on when you are there? I think you gonna have a great night! whats not to like? don't worry about forum reviews but make your own memories.
even if you don't like the club in the end, you are there for one night, and for your djs and the music right? no other guest or club setup should be able to spoil that :) I think you'll love glitterbox
 
Don't worry about your surroundings too much. A group I know went to Glitterbox a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

Yes there is a lot of VIP, but there also is at Amnesia, Pacha...
 
Thanks el_loco. You are right of course. Have to just keep telling myself I'm not a sell-out for going to the big bad corporate Ushuaia empire ;-)

I guess just do the same as the last 25+ years - get in the right headspace, get up the front, get the hands in the air and have another "best night ever". #NeverTooOld

So I've always wondered . . . are those oversize VIP bottles of vodka compensating for something? I mean, the bigger the bottle, the smaller the . . . . just a thought !
 
go for Glitterbox ! looks like a lot of spotlight will be for Glitterbox Closing :cool: this party is not popular such as music on, a shame as music is pure Class

i saw David morales many times,at Hi for glitterbox & heart too
Roger S i saw him at the boat party and Cream too
I saw joey Negro too along opening 17 for Groove odyssey event as Es paradise

For Defected i may give a try for closing if nothing that night as i didnt enjoy the opening ...
