PG: Dark angel... black sexy flying suit, maybe some white contacts, black spider web body stocking, spiked collar and wristband, black feather wings, big black boots and lots of blood hungry attitude. GO!!

ps. Not sure how many of us celebrate Halloween here, so please don't take offense by my asking this question if you don't ;) Just curious to know.

Halloween is only really done for the kids over here PG.

... but don't mind us - you go for it!

:D

That's Samhain to you! (Traditional name)...and I'll be celebrating with bells on!

T R A D E :P

Probably wearing very little as it's a dirty sweat box.

We dont really celebrate it as much as you americans PG, its mostly for kids ;)

Last year we bought loads of sweets for the kids and not one of them knocked on our door so we ate the lot ourselves

We even had decorations outside and Joey bought a frankenstine head thing which he still wears around the house now and even at dinner parties

We have a few people that start coming around about a week before halloween and think that putting a blac bin liner around their body constitues as a halloween costume

It's bank holiday on the 1st november but we don't have halloween.
It's all saints festivity, the previous night we eat eat roasted chestnuts, roasted sweet potates and special sweets. And the first people go to the cementeries. That's the tradition, altho you can find every year more and more halloween parties around, it's another "colonizing" from the USA ;)

Yep, after i ate the sweets me and Sarah went flying around the moon cacking at the small children with our pickety witch boots and our pickets witch fingers pointing at stuff

Inside joke ;)

Theres a photo of me, Sarah and our other friend who had these little small broomsticks in her old house up against the fire and i walked in and saw them and stick ip up me bum and demanded a photo, we all done it and now were the 3 witches. We all have different coloured hair too so its got to be true

I'm having a party :D housewarming and halloween combined. Looking forward to completely transforming the house into a haunted mansion...

not sure what I'm going to wear yet... probably a black bin liner

i wanna goto NYC for halloween.

only thing us brits have to look forward to is wiping the eggs from the front of yr property, cos the little scrotes didnt get enough sugar.

Actually i can remember going to a halloween party about 3/4 years ago and i remember taking some guy with me that i was sort of seeing, i got completley funked and ended upstairs taking to people and it must have been about 5 hours or so that had passed and i went down to see where he was only to be told that he left about 3 hours ago

Didnt hear from him again, just as well really, he kept wanting to see me :?

Thanks for saying that Sil...31st October is a very significant date on my calendar...and it's a VERY British thing. If you look at Pagan connections around Stone Henge etc then it's a festival that has very deep roots in this country - much moreso than America (and all the corporateness that comes with it - urgh).

We're tying to get peolpe to make an effort to dress a bit ghoulish and vampy for our halloween bash. I'm gonna try and go a bit renaisance vampire. Had a bit if a search and came up with a load of US parties with great galleries from halloween. have a look at http://www.donovansf.com/PastPartyPics/PartyPics-Halloween2004.htm
and if you wanna dress up have a look at

Halloween is a big deal in the states, and I would suggest that if you were to take a trip acrossed the pond that you do it during this holiday.

It's the time of the year that you can act childish and immature and you don't get ridiculed for it. Plus, tons of parties and it just goes off.

I am still trying to figure out what I am going as this year...

Ah, thanks for enlightening me everyone! Didn't know it was only for the sweet tiny people where most of you reside :D That is the BEST part IMO, is seeing all the kids dressed up, and they get SO excited... its positively ADORABLE :P :P

I always stay home till about 10PM so I can hand out candy to the children and look at their costumes. I always wear something scary and get in to character, play Bram Stoker's Dracula soundtrack lol.

Then I change in to my REAL costume (most of my costumes = NOT kiddie appropriate lol) and head out for some Halloween hell-raisin' :D :D

Looks like some of you are still going out, dressing up and throwing parties... awesome! Its fun to play pretend like you're 5 years old again hahaha. 8)

Funny pic of last year's Halloween lol.

My roommate (blondie) is a Girls Gone Wild chick, her friend was Pocahantas, my girl Lia was a genie outside a bottle, and I was the fabulous CHER, a la "If I Could Turn Back Time" days lol. That costume rocked... I even had the 80's ankle boots with the buckles and black leather jacket hahaha.

I want to be Sandy from Grease....But I would only do that if I had a Danny for sure. Otherwise, the usual naughty schoolgirl routine. What is up for this year??? No VEGAS??? :D :D :D
