Boat To Ibiza....

I have a friend who has a friend with a villa on mainland Spain.

We were thinking of spending about 10 days there, with Monday to Friday on Ibiza.

We have been told there is a boat that goes from Spain to Ibiza but we have no idea of sailing time, cost etc

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

many thanks

Yes, the ferries to Ibiza are in Denia and Barcelona.
Check those sites: balearia.net and transmediterranea.es

I´ve gone to Ibiza once from Ibiza and once from Barcelona. The biggest suprise both times is that it is incredebly expensive to go by boat compared to by plane.
From Barcelona we only paid like €45 when we ordered the day before we left (Air Europe I think) so if there is no particular reason why you want to go by boat, I would strongly suggest Air Travel...

That's true.
Flights to the islands aren't cheap, but if you book early you can find good deals, check Spainair.com
Bear in mind that, depending where's your friend's villa it can be far from Barcelona or Denia. Where's your friend's villa, by the way?
