Boat Rental Ibiza

Hi,
We're heading over on the 27th for 10 days, and at one point, there will be 18 of us out there. I'm thinking it would be a good idea to hire a boat for the day. Can anyone tell me where, how, and how much it will be to do this? Are there any reputable websites I can check up on?

Last year we had a group of 13 and rented a boat from global star events, we were out all afternoon and until after sunset, the drink was included in the price and the boat had big enough speakers so we could make our own playlist, hook up our ipods and party all day. The boat didn't go too far, just up and down the coast but stopped regularly to let us swim etc. it was about €1200 I think. Definitely recommend it.

Hi Ray,

I'm out there with 4 friends from the 18th and debating hiring out a boat, I have the advantage of being a skipper so can charter out one and not pay for having someone sail the boat for me.

I'm not sure I would want a boat big enough for 18 people but we could easily rent one for 10 to share which would cost about 620 euros....

skipper or not.do you know the waters around ibiza.stick to having a drink and joining in the fun.don;t forget havin a full skipper etc inc insurance.
 
^^ I'd second this. I've chartered with them from Cala Martina, just took a large RIB out as didn't want sound systems etc. blaring out in beautiful protected areas of the coast, plus allowed us to go out to the islands when the waves were really quite rough and fixed-hulls were cowering anchored up in the bays.

Was 300 Euros for the day including skipper (friend of Guenter's boat) and I chucked in 50 Euros of fuel. There were 3 of us + skipper but could have taken 7.

Fantastic skipper, did cliff-jumps, freediving etc. and showed us some rather special underwater places along the coast too.

Thanks for the recommendation for global star events, we've just booked our boat trip with them. Something I've been wanton to do in Ibiza for years.
