Going to blackpool tomorrow for 2 days and was just wondering is there much to do during the week? Any recommendations of nice restaurants and pubs?

You will struggle to find Resturants in Blackpool. All eateries are fast food places like McDonalds, Buger King, Pizza Huts and Fish & Chips with curry sauce 
Utter crap.
I think their clubs are geared towards weekends only at this time of year
but bars should be busy.

I have been before but only at weekends, there is bound to be somewhere decent to eat!! I hope because when I have been before I have settled for mcdonalds!!
I lived there in 98/99 it's sodding cold! The clubs are cack your best going for a camp night at funny girls, full on burlesque show, even all the bar staff are trannies, I promise it's a great night.
For a nice restaurant try the white tower at the pleasure beach, it's in the casino building, they even do show and dine packages so you could go see Mystique or Eclipse (both really good shows) and then go eat..
Steer clear of yates wine lodge (all 3 of them!)
Some nice resaturants and bars on queen square ask some lovely local to point you in the right direction.

Thanks, been meaning to check out Funny Girls, I just got the impression it was strip show or something!! So is it just a bar with entertainment?
Went to Blackpool in 2002 and vowed NEVER to go back.
Shellsuited neanderthals and their 6 kids carrying 18 toilet rolls in a see-through plastic bag in one hand, the other knuckle dragging along the floor as they waddle along pigeon toed towards the next burger joint and eventually the end of their miserable existence....

Blackpool is the Chav capital of the country
I've been twice with two girls and both times both her and I did not see one attractive person in the whole time we were there SCUM everywhere
The only thing to do is go to the pleasure beach and go on all the rides and go to RIPLEYS BELIEVE IT OR NOT which is actually quite good and you'll learn lots of FACTS which is nice.
Oh, and you get pretty decent fish n chips being on the coast 'n' all.
A mate once went for a stag doo and said the bars/clubs were full of chav scum and loads of slags who'd suck you in the toliets for a tenner

True it's full of Britains finest, and stinks of chip fat and doghnuts, but i'm sure BEG isn't visiting Blackers for it's scenery, cuisine and beauty.
I've not actually been back since I did summer season there years ago (can't face it TBH) I guess it serves a purpose though? and Funny girls is a great night out!

had a fantastic time, so much nicer when its not as busy. Found a lovely Italian restaurant called Tiramasu beautiful food and staff were great.
Checked out funny girls too and it was such a laugh, another great bar was called Faith, really enjoyed it.
