bit of info needed

hey ppl

me and my mate are staying in the florencio hostel and havent been to ibiza so
just need to know some info

1. how far away is from the nightlife
2.is the distance walkable ?
3.if not how much in a taxi ,roughly
4.how far away from the beach is it
5. if anyone has stayed at this hostal , whats the day activty at the pool like ?
6.how close is the the town centre


any help would be great thanks !!!

 
Hi, you will be close to everything, no nead for taxis, nightlife, town etc all walk away, unless you want Ibiza town then a bus or taxi will be needed. Walk to beach too, but better beaches are a bus or boat away.
I have not stayed there but did a google search and it looks like its been revamped...all nice new rooms. You will have a great time!

I stayed here for two weeks in 2003. be very careful of the owners if they are still the same! we were a group of 10 lads and they accused us of damaging there sunbeds and plastic chairs and tried to charge us for them, and threatened to withold our passports. we didn't give in and they eventually let it go! we also got booted out a day early for being apparently too noisy and my mate pushing the uptight manager into the swimming pool! it's a good place for a lads holiday but wouldn't recommend for anyone else. very close to the west end about 3-5 mins walk and only a short walk up the road to the sunset strip about 10mins walk. The town centre is also a very short walk. There wasn't any activity around the pool during the day.
it might have changed a bit though- cuz it was 4 years ago! hope that helps!
 
cheap clean accomodation, pool is quite small and shaded

chill out at kanya/coastline/mambo in th day instead down the road

very close to all the action and cheap fryups on the corner in bar solei (if its still there!)

for a lads hol you cant go far wrong....

if you want more "action" there is a large hotel (tropical) round the corner and its easy to sneak into their pool which is very busy8O
