Oh, and whilst were on the subject, as a lazy stereotypers assumed knowledge base (sorry!), are there any clubs in London that have proper vogueing (sp) contests?:lol:
 
Unfortnately not...but there was a big thing happening at Cafe de Paris not long ago which would've been ace if you're into that.

The dance troupe from one of the original house of 'somethingorother' (forgotten the name) in new york were having a dance off so it was a rare opportunity to see them all under one roof.

If this means nothing to you then watch 'paris is burning'...it's basically poofter gangsters having dance offs between gang areas instead of shoot outs. Sounds funny but these people had amazing talent, bags of attitude and lots of lyrical talent too.

You won't find anything in Vauxhall's gay graveyard other than desperado steroid abusers and cruddy music. :lol:

Cheers, that was just the sort of info I was after. I'm sure someone's mentioned Paris is Burning to me before, though after that description I'm going to renew my efforts to find it :D

(Oh, and if something like that CdP do pops up again, could you let us know, cheers. Vogueing is this weeks new fad for me! I reckon with my long limbs and moderately theatrical dance moves, and a bit of practice...:D)
