Big Thankyou from The Orange Corner, Ibiza

Now finally back in the UK after another hectic summer, I'd like to thank everyone who had any involvment with The Orange Corner in San Antonio this summer.

I hope everyone had a great summer, whether it was for the whole summer or just a holiday or 2 on the white Isle!!

On behalf of the bar I'd like the thank all the DJ's and promotors (quite a few who use this forum) who came down and played/put on parties at The O.C. and all the people who came down to drink/eat - dance/chill and just enjoy the music...

I'll be making a post on the forum again in the new year reguarding parties/dj's next summer...

glad to hear you had a good summer, always nice to hear good reports.

I went their a few times, although i think i went there a bit late most nights so perhas i didn't get the full effect of it.

Was down at The Orange Corner quite a few times this summer and had a great time. Drinks seemed well priced, and during the day it was perfect for chilling with good tunes.

It was nice to see varied promoters - ie After Dark (Edinburgh)

Sangria tastes as good as ever. See the Friendly Kiwi bloke still works at the bar

Will be there again next year :D

Those girls on they podiums did not know how to dance. One I saw looked like it was her first time and the girl on the podium opposite was her mentor :?

Decent dancers please :idea:

I was also going to say louder music at night but thats outwith your control :evil:

What ever happened to the pretty blonde girl who used to had out the flyers. She was really friendly. She was there a couple of years (2002/2003) but not this year :?

Had many good nights at OC or Kiwi as it was back in the day......

That girl was FAB wasn't she? I'd always pop down and see her, I was so disappointed when she wasn't there this year - she was there in 1999 too - great girl :P

I think some Phatter Choonz would probably improve the place, maybe something towards Tribal House :?:
 
the only girl i remember from the orange corner was the one who would smack my arse for flyering on her patch back in 02 ;) :D ;)
 
OC is a great place to sit and watch the crowds pass on the San An Promenade - great for people watching.

Its also nice on a clear night after the sunsets and the sky has the orange glow that reflects onto the bay - the water is so calm its like a mirror and projects all the lights from the town 8)

I so want to be there now :roll:
