BIG SHAME! Space will not open the teracce!!!

from the interview with Space manager:

We’ve made everything for our beloved public not to miss to much the "old Terrace" where we will do another big opening to celebrate the brand new Terrace, on the Sunday 17th of July for We love Space!

If he is saying something like this in june that means that the probably will not open the teracce befor closing... :((((((((
 
They have to enclose the terrace this year to keep in line with the "no outside music after midnight" rule which is island wide. I believe that the terrace opening party will go ahead. There is still a couple of months of the season left come the middle of July.

Hi can you explain further, is there an opening Terrace Party on july 17th at Space, or have I got everything completely wrong???!!????

If so, have you any details?
 
what I understood is - tommorow is the space opening party. they have like 3 dancefloors but the teracce will be closed till july the 17th minimum...

Will there b enough room for all the clubbers without the terrace tho?... :roll:
 
yaah, the place is not a problem. they have a lot. the problem is that the space atmosphere is on the terrace,without it it's just a regular club like the others...
 
I was thinking, it's ok for Sundays at Space as they utilise all of Space anyway so there will still be plenty of room but what about the day clubs for which the terrace was so pivotal? Will they be using the upstairs terrace as well?
 
I'm worried even about We Love. Being inside a dark room is not my ideal way to spend an afternoon... I know the DJ line up will be great, but it is definitely a disapointment without the terrace :roll:

The upstairs terrace is fine and all, but I don't remember it being that large (though I was never up there long, so it could be my memory fails me). I wonder if they've got some other options worked out for the We Love opening as they apparently did for the Space opening :?:
 
Thats not so bad ..i will probably be chained to Bora Bora ..... this keeps happening to me year after yaer ... :D

We don't even know the state of that yet either!
 
What did they do for the space opening then? Surly they can't go without a terrance for the 1st month?

Is the car-park not being used?
 
Not impressed, I must say. True, the terrace isn't everything and we will make the best of it, but it's still disappointing. The big question is what does this mean for the planned terrace entertainment? I've been looking forward to Groove Armada and NDSM and, to be honest, €35 doesn't sound so reasonable if Jeff Mills is going to be headlining.

NDSM are in the red room i think.
 
from the We Love advert in DJ mag it seemed to suggest that Back2Basics were bi-weekly hosts of the Red Room and that NDSM were terraza-bound
 
I honestly dont think I'll bother with Space if the terrace or some kind of outside dancing facility isnt going to be open :evil:

Who wants to be in a dark room when it's boiling hot outside? :(
 
lets just hope they use the car-park... they have to have an outside stage, surly.

on a good note count down to ibiza starts now :D 13 days to go

That room's tiny - it will be quite a squeeze!
 
Stop panicing people :lol: It's Space, it's Sunday, it's Ibiza, it's We Love Opening Party, how can you not have a good time :roll: :lol:

Terrace, no terrace or terrace in whatever form it's going to be in, I know I for one can't wait :D
