Believe me, nobody was sadder than I on hearing the news of Bora Bora's demise, and being the saddest person on this board is indeed a difficult state to be in given the elevated levels of saddity from certain members.
But back to my tale, Beachbum DJ Gee had, in a special DJ to DJ telephone call, requested that I give him a much-needed helping hand. His luxury beachbum pad on Ibiza's posh Paseo Maritimo had sprung a leak, could I help him fix it and in return he'd give me the 2am to 4am spot at Bora Bora. Naturally I was down there like a shot equipped with welding rods, horse hair, and ceiling wax to get that ingress of water from the roof sorted out. Imagine my shock when he told me he was off to Brazil where for the price of a Bora Bora beer you can purchase a pie, a pint, and a woman (don't ask me whose pies they are) and then imagine how even more shocked I was when he revealed the terrible news about BB!!
