Best time to book hotel

Well Ibiza gurus...which is the best time to book a hotel for the summer???
i'm asking that cause prices right now are quite up for a double room in mid-July...is there any possibility of dropping lately???
 
I usually book in April for June.

It all really depends on the hotel in which you want to stay.

The one we've used for the past 3 years (Garbi in PdB) doesn't have fluctuating prices, plus it's big enough that it still has rooms when I get around to booking.
 
well i prefer a hotel in figueretas and i'd have no problem to try Talamanca...but 2 years ago i booked Lux Mar for 12 nights (10-22 July) for only 785 euros...now its price for 9 nights (13-22 July) is 882 euros...this is a veeeery big difference don't you think???
 
I usually try and book just before easter. Ive not seen the prices fluctuate before. I always find the cheapest way is to book it all seperate.
 
the big group hotel chains have set prices.its the smaller hotels that seem to change.i use fiesta group.
