www.expedia.co.uk whoa! i got my ticket departing on the 13th of July at Gatwich and returning there on the 22nd with IBERIA for only 116,30. and the flight hours are like really really good - departing at 19.15 arriving at 23.50 and home around 18.00 arriving at 22.10. sure i have to stop in barcelona for an hour before going on to ibiza, but its worth the wait....just a tip for you peeps:)

i would really reccommend not doing that flight with Iberia. We did it last year, the service was appauling and they stranded us in Barcelona overnight.

Have you tried BA and Thomsons. their flights are pretty cheap ;)
 
agree with scoobs on this one.........its only an hour in barcelona but it means the whole journey takes 4-5 hours rather than the 2-2.5 if you went direct (and thats if there are no mess ups).

iberia are an ok airline, never had any probs with myself but during the summer season i'd always get a direct flight to ibiza.

during off-season, there isn't much choice, as there aren't any direct flights.
 
Yeah, i booked my flight separately
Its a direct one and should get us in for about 11pm
The expedia one paired with the trip would have been at least 1 stop (i think maybe 2) and meant we got in Ibiza about 1am!!!!
 
my ticket is perfect. i arrive at 23.50 (ok a bit late, but who cares.....) and i depart at 18.o0 and its only 116 pounds. come on thats cheap! and i wont be stranded in gatwich or anything, because i can get the trains to clapham junction and off from there to mortlake where i am going to live:) in about....16 days from now yikes!!!!

I forgot you'd be living in London Linn, you should have booked with Easyjet from Gatwick, I think their flights are only about £80 return.

i checked, and they do have cheap tix indeed. hell, i even found i direct flight with BA outtbound for only 60 pounds, but the return was horrible flying hours. thing is: i dont wanna be stranded in gatwich or stansted and not being able to get home, arriving at 03.10 !8O

The Gatwick Express runs thru the night , we have quite an advanced public transport system you know :lol: ;)
 
aww well, that might make me change my ticket then! also because i suddenly realise i have made it for LHR instead on gatwick! lol*8O also: peeps told me tube doesnt run at night, so one´s stuck in the airports if there are no other options. but gatwick - mortlake is a possible destination?

PMSL, so you've booked from Heathrow not Gatwick :lol:

The tube doesn't run at night but the Gatwick Express overground runs thru-out the night.

Heathrow is quite easy for you to get to tho from Richmond (that's where you're moving to isn't it??), the Piccadilly line runs to Heathrow or you can get the Heathrow Express from Paddington.

How did u manage to find that price? I search for 2 people on expedia and was gettin 190 odds!

mid june still not entirely peak season but a VERY VERY good price.
we are paying only 200 euros pr .person for 10 days in a private apartment in the bay. thats good too!
