Hi everyone!
Just writing to find out where those of you who have stayed in Playa D'en Bossa before think the best hotel/apartment is...I'll be there the 2nd week of July. My first time in Ibiza was in July of 2001, we stayed in San Antonio (can't quite remember the name of the hotel), but after hearing from a few people that Playa D'en Bossa is a better place to stay (and because I want to try a new place in Ibiza anyway), we've decided on Playa D'en Bossa. Here's what we're looking for..(I can't WAIT to be back...it's been a long 4 years!)

*Air conditioning a MUST
Would like a good pool
Bar/Club in the hotel for pre-partying (cheap drinks!)
Somewhat close to Bora Bora (though I believe most places in Playa d'en Bossa are close to Bora Bora)
All inclusive worked pretty well last time in San Antonio, though I'm guessing most apartments don't have buffets...are there any good places with all inclusive in Playa d'en Bossa?

And lastly....I read a few reviews about Bora Bora being closed last season, is it back open??
Thanks for any and all advice...the reviews have helped somewhat, but just looking for more opinions. Thanks again! Can't wait to be back!!

Hey Mike,

I stayed at the Fiesta Hotel Playa d'en Bossa http://www.ibiza-hotels.com/hotelplayadenbossa/
last year. It was really good. The food was great. We were actually quite taken back by the quality and the selection. We payed for the half-board-includes breakfast/lunch and dinner. The staff were friendly, I met one of the front desk girls who spoke excellent english was a lot of fun to party with. The pool is a little small but did the trick for just lounging. The hotel bar is smaller but again did the trick when we went. Their website says they have AC but unless they were all booked up last year, we would've got one but instead had a fan. Therefore, was a little warm at night, but it's Ibiza right!? Internet service. It's right beside Club Playa d'en Bossa (affiliated) which has a larger pool and lounging area. Both hotels do not recommend families or kids. Right across the street from Space! (ideally close for when you want to spend 24 hrs there and need a quick bite or shower) and really close to Bora Bora!

Depending on if you want an Apartment or Hotel, I'd recommend this hotel.

Hotel advice

Thanks! This helps out a ton! I didn't think anyone was going to reply....I definitely need A/C, so hopefully we'll be all set. Sounds like a winner to me...thanks again!

We stayed at the Sirienis Jabeque last year and probably will again this year. Its not in PDB, but in Figuretas (two blocks from Es Vive), so handy for Ibiza Town as well as PDB.

It was clean, and pretty quiet, which is good if you do intend to sleep - pool parties are great unless you want a disco nap. The apartments are all sea facing with great views and a separate living area, big bathroom and a cool dark living room. Also, has air con all the way through which is separate for the bedroom, so you can keep it nice and chilly in there and still have your windows open. Its also clean with a couple of pools and on the sea front with a view of Ibiza Town.

Also, its a bargain at 64 euros a night from www.sirenishotels.com. :D
