I would recommend the restaurant
Gusto 8) which is on the main road at the entrance of El Divino, from here you will have a nice view over the port looking at the old town

Food is great and I recommend a jug of Strawberry Champagne with it
You can then take the taxi boat over to the old town
This is what I wrote about it
Name: Gusto
Where: Paseo Maritimo - Juan Carlos 1, opposite El Divino
Food: Modern Mediterranean. Example Chiken with Thyme on a bed of Jalepeno pepper & lemongrass risoto
Style: Modern with a mix of old chunky wood benches and Buddahas
Opinion: Highly recommend, staff genuinely friendly, mix of Spanish customers which adds to the atmosphere
Price: Two course meal for 2 with a jug of Champagne Sangria, mineral water, espresso & Grappas 80euro ish
