Best Ibiza documentary by far

It's one of those 'movies' that you shouldn't switch off in the first 2 minutes because it just gets better. I think it captures the Ibiza experience nicely, obviously it tackles the drugs scene but it handles it well. I've already downloaded most of the soundtrack onto my pc. Brings back memories of Bora Bora on a hot sunny day.... wishing i was there now...making my way back to San An to watch the sun go down with a few beers by my side.. anyway.. back to work :)

it's as one sided and misleading as ibiza uncovered was. (though i only watched to minute 6)

Ibiza Uncovered has left a lasting bad impression on a lot of people. It focused on the general bad behaviour of the British. I have been on holiday to Ibiza 2 and 3 times a year now for the last 10 years and have never seen half of the situations that programme shown. I remember myself and my wife deliberately going to the West End one August night to see what all the hype was about.. I think Sky must have been parading up and down for hours to find the right people (scum) to film. I've convinced a lot of my friends and family to visit the island now (most wouldn't do after originally hearing and watching programmes like Ibiza Uncovered) - they too now go back year after year.

I think the documentary of Ibiza's Children is so different to the Sky programme - it does focus mainly on the young but dosen't throw the tackiness in your face. The music and the scenery really bring back good memories for me. It gives the right atmosphere for the clubbing generation.

I think that the person who has produced this documentery is an Ibiza lover themselves and i think this shows in the way it is filmed.

it's still one sided and misleading. i wouldn't want to go if i saw it.

was there one single ibicenco in it ???

That's older than 2007....looks more like 2005 to me.
Didn't like it at all...Very predictable.
Usual bunch of monosyllabic morons in the standard locations.

I actually liked this video - although it only captures the clubbing side of the island, it does capture that side well :)

I think it was from 2002...

it does focus on all the clubbing side and doesn't really show any of the beauty, especially the north part of the island and stephen is right, it doesn't show any locals..

It is a bit trancey-lets-come-together-and-PLUR yaah! quite cheesy in some bits and doesn't really show much of the music I'd go to... so it doesn't really show even the clubbing parts i'd like.

but, not bad, it was an amateur video... if i saw that movie it woudn't want to make me go..but i suspect it would for some people.

This really doesn't capture Ibiza at all. There's an excessive slant on drugs on it when there really need not be. Saw this last year, put me on a big downer.

Anyone recommend any other mini documentries/clips. Always good time filler fodder :]

I've lost count of the number of people I've had to tell "It's not like Ibiza Uncovered" when they ask why I keep going back to the island year after year!

That show put me off going (the whole "chavs and slappers on this piss" thing) until I was in my 30s - heading out soon for my 5th visit ;-0

I remember seeing a documentary on tv a while ago , it was all about drugs in Ibiza. 2 guys went there to see how easy it was to get stuff etc . They tried to pull the plug on the ppl dealing on the island etc but bit off more than they could chew . They had arranged a meeting with some geezers (apparently it was Scousers who ran the ecstasy chain they found) but at the last minute they got a phone call tellinjg them to get the f**k off the island or their lives were in danger. They had secret cameras etc and had been filming deals in Space / Bora Bora . They interview the police especially this unit who had their own boat trying to catch ppl bringing stuff in by boat apparently they hadn't caught a single person! Cant remember the name of it or anything but was quite interesting as an investigative documentary

it was also quite an inventive documentary too. most of the claims about the customs boat/staff were demonstrated to be quite ludicrous.

So u saw it too? It was a few years ago i saw it , before i ever thought of coming to ibiza. Is it on youtube? Would like to see it again with fresh eyes
