Best funky house / house compilations and artists!

I know most of the big ibiza house tracks from 2003 but im more into trance so i dont know much about house or funky house!!

any recomendations :?:

compilations, artists, tracks?

I was in the funky room in eden and garlands dj's were playing! i loved them! stuff like that!

Any of the Defected in the House stuff is good - last year there was a JJ and Migs one, Junior Jack and Kid Creme, Kenny Dope and Best Of. Also Dimitri in Paris Defected in the House is out next week. They all are good starters into funky house.

As Barbie said, but the only thing which puts me off these is that most of the tunes have already been hammered to death :roll:

I have a white label vinyl called "pink george" its pink get this party started vs something i dont know!

i like this type of music....im sure you have all heard it! Any other tracks similar to this......the cheesy pink lyrics arent necessary tho hehe

I've been after this for aaaaages. When I first heard it I thought it was gonna be really cheesy, but the vocal fits almost perfectly. I've only heard it once since.

The backing track used on that is somewhat of a modern classic IMO, from the days when Morillo used to smash it (2000 ish)

ps:got all 2003 defected cds..2003 hed kandi's cd nearly all 2003 compilation from famous club from ibiza etc...
far far away the underground sound beat them all! 8)
