In October, the lady and myself are going to Berlin for a long weekend. Has anyone here been? We want to tae in all the sights of the day, and the best sounds at night. 8)

Any help will be greatly recieved.

Also; How far is Munich from Berlin and is it easily commutable as we wouldn't mind giving Oktoberfest a whirl.

Anyone now how much of a barrier the language is too? As neither of us now any German past "good morning" "No" and a few swears. :lol:
 
Munich is miles away

Go on a bus tour and see the sights - U bahn and S bahn the equivalent to the underground is cheap and reliable.

If you like techno you have come to the right place.

Watergate is good against the banks of the spree.

Club de Visonniare again great, golden gate and Berghain\Paramount.

Amazing city -great clubbing fantastic sights.

If you are in the neighbourhood check out DK bar dackhammer bar in Freidrichstein.

Lingo isnt a problem

I am certainly a bit of a techno head. :D

The mrs is more of a hands in the air house girl though.
