Don't really know if anyone can help me, but does anyone have any information about this years Love Parade? I really want to go, but don't know much about it. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

LOVEPARADE 2004 WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE 10TH OF JULY 2004 AT THE TIERGARTEN IN BERLIN, GERMANY

Best trance-party to go on Friday eve is Love from Above with PvD, Tiesto and NuNRG (live) from 23:00-09:00, then grab some sleep, parade starts at 14:00-18:00, then the "Abschlußkundgebung" around Goldelse from 18:00-23:00, then it´s the clubs and after-Parties again.

Apparently this year with a Trance-Afterparty somewhere, not confirmed sofar. But Electronic Kingdom is a good choice, too, especially if Paul Kalkbrenner plays ;)

Do go, it is one of the most amazing things I have ever been to. I found it surreal, just this mass of people dancing to nearly all the genres of house music. Once your out there it is relatively cheap, with the hub of parties between Thursday and Sunday, and is a real chance to see DJ's that don't play here that often, people like DJ Rush, Ellen Allien and Westbam. Whatever type of music you are into, you will be catered for. The vibe is awesome, people may say it has lost the original feeling, but for me having not been there before, it was cool.
Hotels are easy to book in advance, you won't be sleeping much, but I always think it's best to have some where to put your bags and kip if you need to. We stayed at a campsite, about 20 min away from from the center of town, which was cheap and fine. Try to spend as little on a hotel as possible, because you will really be dancing for most of the day and night.
Just go there.
 
I went in 2000, really good, but the language barrier was a bit of a problem! as i wasn't armed with a dictionary!
best moment was some DJ mixing Donna Summer 'I Feel Love' into Moloko 'Sing It Back' (Mousse T Mix) and cutting between the two. As the sun was dipping!
brilliant - a great memory!
 
about €7 now, though I can only sell cigarettes for €4.50, but I still want to go to the Love Parade, I just won't be going to Germany for my import business!
