does anyone know if u can get a taxi back from benniras? i went about 5 year ago but got a lift and a lift back. ive been to ibiza every year since but not back to benniras beach. im takin my mam out to the island this year and wouldnt mind takin her there to watch the sunset with the hippys. ive herd u can walk from there to san miguel up the track but i dnt suppose that would be a good idea once the sunsets any suggestions
 
I'm guessing you could call a taxi.

I don't remember seeing any standing around when I was there last.

I'd be scared trekking up that road to Puerto de San Miguel. It's pretty narrow in places.
 
I too am looking for some advice on how to get to and from Benirras? If I am not hiring a car is there an other way to get there and back?
 
Dont walk it from Puerto San Miguel.

Its fine on the way out as its all downhill, but the walk back is difficult.

A number of people make this mistake and you see them trying to flag down cars for a lift home.

Bus it to San Miguel and get a Taxi from there to Benniras. Ask the driver to come back and collect you at an agreed time.
 
From Puerto San Miguel its about 10 mins along the coast road. About the same from San Miguel but its a much better road.

Taxi fare would cost no more that €10.
 
The big drum thing on sundays was stopped some years ago by the cops.....
Now I think it's just a few might turn up,maybe a lot,maybe not?

I wouldnt reccomend walking to san miguel from benniras at night unless you know the road well.
Taxi's are not common in Benniras but you could maybe get a number to call for a taxi? x
