I'm coming over for the closing parties in October, land early hours of Sunday. I want to go to Benirras beach on the Sunday afternoon before Space closing but not sure best way to get there. Staying in Playa Den Bossa, we won't have a car though. Is there a bus or would it have to be a taxi ride?

Could get a bus to San Miguel and try an get a taxi from there. Geting home might be an issue though. Much easier with your own motor though.

Cheers mate. Yeah getting a car not an option unfortunately. I don't drive and the Mrs won't want to sit there and watch me get pissed all afternoon. I'm guessing taxi would be about €40 each way?

Yeah sounds about right. We were about 32 from pdb to the hippodrome near st gertrudis.

St Miguel is nice for a walk around if you got the bus there first although think you'd have to get a bus from Ibiza town?

There is a little water taxi from San Miguel to Benirras. Takes only a few at a time but would be a different way of arriving/departing.

Thanks diver, think this might be the option of go for. Bus to San Miguel then water taxi there and back. I'll just be sure to check the times the water taxi runs until

I want to go to Benirras late August on a Sunday, it will be a group of us with kids. I have only ever been pre or off season - and never on a Sunday.. I would like to know what the parking situation is like. What is the latest to go to get a parking space fairly close to the beach? And maybe I should ask about space on the beach because judging by the pics it gets pretty rammed!

It leaves from the left, as you face the sea (if I remember correctly) and not the little jetty where the other boats do.
I'll check it out in July for you re prices and times, as I will be popping into the little Chingurito there for a cold un' at some point when passing.

yeah the beach will be rammed - if you get there early afternoon you'll still find a space to put your towel, but by 4-5pm it's just packed. as for parking situation, can't say as I've not been for a while on a sunday.

I'd make a day of it tbh. There is some decent free parking on the left as you approach, under the cover of trees too. Its a mare trying to get a space and if you have travelled a long way.........?

How rammed is rammed? Is it Cala Conta rammed or Dc10 rammed lol

That's the plan but we don't want to make too much of a day if you now what I mean, what with places to eat being limited. What's that other restaurant like? Not sure of the name but not Elements.

somewhere in between I'd say. the closer you go to the drummers the busier it gets of course. if you stick to the far side to the right looking out at the sea it's quieter of course but then you're a bit away from the action.

Try to aim to get there about 3 bells maybe? I didnt check the menu at the other place on the left but Elements was a bit pricey.

I had lunch at Elements in May. It was quite expensive compared to other meals I had that were in similar settings but not by a million miles.

I'm sure I saw videos of drummers on YouTube from May this year .. And it looked pretty packed!
