Just wondering if anyone of you guys have tried it?, if so how is it compared to pioneer djm600? Must say the price is really tempting.

I havent tried it but i can vouch for behringer gear. I often use both a dj and studio mixer by behringer as well as compressors, eq's etc. Good quality stuff for the price.

The Behringer DJX700 is nothing on the Pioneer DJM600, but due to the price you shouldn't really be compairing the two.

If you compare the Behringer DJX700 to other mixers of a similar price though you will find it is excellent value for money.

i've got a djm600.........for about a year now and still cant find fault........really sturdy, reliable piece of kit.............good use of 600 squid.

a mate just got a Behringer......so i've played with both.... the behringer has a bit more of a toy, unsturdy feel about it.....but the main difference i find is that the sound on the upfaders is very very soft until u reach about 7 or 8 then the sound 'blasts' up after that.......whereas with the pioneer......the sound volume increases evenly and RELIABLY all the way up...........

the effects on the behringer are numbered so you have to learn what effects the numbers corallate(spelling?) to......where as with the pioneer....the effects are labled etc.....

the pioneer is def the better but again it's all down to ur personal choice and wishes......

if money is an issue.....mayb u should consider a cheaper mixer but of a good name!!djm300 or 500(the djm500 is basically the 600 with a few less bits that u prob dont need anyway).....what about stanton or vestax?? and then get a sound effects add ons etc later........

anyway m8...good luck and let us know...

I have the DJX 700, it is an ok mixer, but not very robust. A couple of the faders have already started to play up a bit. Plus they have very little control over the volume. As a buget mixer it is excellent, but i wish i had spent a little more on a Pioneer

The Pioneer DJM 600 is better than the Behringer DJX700 in every way, FACT; there is no debate here. As I said, you cannot compare the two, you have to compare the Behringer with mixers of a similar price. You do definately get what you pay for though, great value for money.

A good mixer for half the price of a Pioneer DJM600 is a Vestax PCV275. Well built, sturdy mixer with excellent sound quality and nice isolator switches.
