Beers of Ibiza

First discovered the beer 'Damm Limon' at Golden Buddha about 4 years ago now and make it a point to go there at least once, chill out and relax with one of these amazing beers when I'm in Ibiza.

So my point is, does anyone know of anywhere else that sells this that I could try when I'm over next month, and similarly, and other lesser known spanish beers I could try?

I really enjoy the Ibosim Ibiza beers (http://ibizagastro.com/archive/ibosimbeeribiza.html) - the dark carob porter is especially fine.

We had them in Out of Time People in Ibiza Town, Las Dalias in San Carlos and Caos in Santa Eulalia.

Islena is another nice, light ale which is also from Ibiza and widely available. Lovely bottles too.

I'm with Ollie, straight up no nonesense, Estrella, around €2.50 per pint

Estrella is decent although i find it gives you a honking hangover like a lot of the continental lagers like Peroni and Moretti (mind you not a surprise if slurping 15 of them).

Will try and hunt down Payesa too then. I don't mind Estrella but just get sick of dinking it day in, day out...so its good to see some other options available

Tried that Islena last year and wasn't a fan at all!, Estrella has been my preferred one but looks like i've got a few new ones to try this year

btw, if any of you Estrella lovers ever spot Estrella Galicia around the place give it a try....I reckon it's the tastiest.

Estrella galicia is good. I get it in can in a few shops near me.never saw it in Ibiza.

If we are talking from the tap...then it's keg beer which is dead. The only real control over it is the temperature and the gas pressure which can vary.
